James is better in most statistical category. without james, the cavs are nothing. without kobe, the lakers are still a decent team.

rice people like you need to stay away from these kind of question. If that was the case, Kobe would of been mvp the last two years. LeBron james cant lead his team anymore. His good players has gone to Bulls. Now he cant even lead this team with 4 former Allstars. and i dont know if you can see or not but Kobe is leading his team with only 1 former all star at his side lol

Kobe, because playing in the west coast is a lot tougher than playing in the east. And Kobe is one of the only "good" players on the Lakers, yet the Lakers are first on the WEST coast.
