Nba MVP???

Does anyone think that Jason Kidd deserves MVP this year?I mean the guy is averaging 14.3 points,8.7 assist,8.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals,and without him the Nets would be nothing.

Jason Kidd deserves to be the MVP just about every year. Unfortunately, his selfless style of basketball doesn't get the recognition that it deserves.

The Nets are a bad team with or without Kidd.

Give the MVP to a player on a club with a WINNING record. Dirk Nowitzki is the only All-Star player on the league's best team (until the Commish put Josh Howard on the All-Star roster).

Dirk is clearly the MVP frontrunner right now.

Its either Steve Nash or IF iverson keeps up his points and gets his assists to 10, and gets to the semi finals or finals, he will get MVP.
Kidd is good unfortunately his team sucks! Steve Nash will win it again, Dirk has a good chance and Kobe's name is always thrown out there. Too bad I can't throw Lebron's name in the mix.
Lebron james is the real MVP because if u took kidd off the nets they still have got vince carter but if you took lebron off the cavs they have no one like carter to step up and carry the team

I really like Kidd, and think he deserves to be a nominee for it, but the Nets aren't good and they're keeping him from being a serious MVP contender. Therefore, the MVP race comes down to Nash, Kobe, Dirk, and possibly Arenas.
If the nets were a winning team, MAYBE. Jason Kidd isnt a player a lot of people talk about. There are many other players in the NBA who wont get MVP but will get rocognition before J-Kidd.
Kidd's numbers are taken for granite just like Marion's and Nowitzki's every year.

Jason Kidd leads the league in triple doubles and does it with no effort. Had New Jersey had Dallas or Phoenix's record the case for MVP would be closed.

In light of this I would have to say Dirk Nowitzki is the best overall choice now that Arenas has fallen off the map.

Kidd is a good player but shouldnt even be CONSIDERED at MVP. First off, his team isnt very good and those arent that great of numbers. I can name alot of players who deserve it over him.
